Our digital world becomes more complex and connected, parallelly the number and complexity of cyber threats are increasing rapidly. This comes at a considerable cost. In 2020, the cost of cybercrime to the global economy reached EUR 5.5 trillion. The situation is expected to exacerbate, with a projected 41 billion Internet of Things-connected devices by 2025.
How can European regions, governments and municipalities, organisations and companies leverage technology to strengthen Europe’s cybersecurity, and it’s own resilience? What regulatory measures and incentives are needed to ensure all citizens and businesses benefit from a safe and trustworthy digital environment? This is in a daily work of EFFRA, EIT Manufacturing, MANUFUTURE EU, Gamybos inovacijų slėnis / Manufacturing Innovation Valley.
And we will speak about it in panel discussion: „Re-thinking Europe`s long-term economic and defense security“ at European Manufacturing Conference 2024 https://lnkd.in/daNT24Dh
